Belmore Road, High Street and Avoca Street intersect at the statue at the south end of the Randwick shopping district. High Cross Park and and the heritage side of the Prince of Wales Hospital complex also meet at this intersection. (If you want access to the Prince of Wales Hospital enter via Barker Street in Randwick: the southern side of the complex).
Bunnerong Road runs north-south through Kingsford, Matraville & Chifley.
Malabar Road starts from the roundabout where Rainbow Street and Mount Street meet in Coogee and then curves around Randwick Cemetery running parallel to the coast in South Coogee into Maroubra.
Kingsford was named after Charles Kingsford-Smith, the famous pioneering Australian aviator.
